Now that I am working on chapter two of MOTO, I have come up with a few more story ideas ( most of them being based off of movies I watched when I was young, like 8-9.)
1. Beauty and the beast- I get that Fluttercord fans picture this shipping as the part and that their reason is because "oh Fluttershy is supposed to be beautiful, that's why she's Belle!", but Discolight fits that part as well because Belle is a bookworm, so I decided to write a fanfic combining the two shippings,the title will explain it!!!
2. The adventures of Tom Thumb and Thumbelina- somehow I felt that Bluelight fit this movie better because they would start out being cold to each other, then they would get to know each other better, and hey, they're both royalty!
3. Narnia- I was inspired by Disneyfanatic2364's its all hooey and decided to write Megan and her brother and sister find a magic mirror that takes them to Equestria 1000 years before the show,and they get to hang out with Starswirl the Bearded. (Oh, and Celestia and Luna before their ascension!
4. Alicorns, alicorns everywhere- I was planning to do a story that takes place either during or after season 5 about alicorn ascension and flutter ponies, and a living ancestor of Twilight!
5. MOTO ch2- there will be slight violence and one tiny scene of gore in a later chapter that'll have some character getting part of their face burned off by fire! J.K.

3503184 I wanted to do Blueblood and Twilight because they wouldn't get along at first and in the movie there is one scene where they don't get along. I was originally thinking of having Tirek as the mole king, but Sombra would suit the role better now that you mention it. And because I want to write a fanfic for the ships I can't decide on!
3503184 so I'm already working on a flashlight, so I want to do a Discolight/Fluttercord and a Bluelight, and the only thing we know about Blueblood is that he was a jerk towards Rarity at the season one gala.

3503523 that too, I changed their names. Blueblood as North Star and Twilight as Evening glow, so they would argue about their cutie marks.
I kind of suggest you read a Bluelight fic, I mean just because he he was disrespectful in one episode doesn't mean he always is that way, may he was rude to Rarity because he knew Twilight when they were younger ( see Blueblood's Passionate crush), or maybe they were forced into it ( see Arranged disaster)
3503667 Not saying you have to change your shipping idea. I'm ok with it. Blueblood has been played too many times as the bad guy in fanfics anyway. Just saying I don't like him in the show. Would like to read about him not being the way he was on the show. Though I hope King Sombra will be the Mole King. can't wait to find out who will be his minions Godfrey and Daniel.

So Sombra will be the new mole king, and I was thinking Discord would be one of the minions because I remember the scene where the minions pretended to greet others because the mole king was blind, and I originally imagined Tirek's weak state making him blind so Discord would make thousands of discords greeting each other. Plus he would look good in a bridesmaid dress!

3503794 yeah, but I had a hard time thinking about who the second minion would be. Strangely enough, I had the most crazy idea of all: MY OC!!! I thought it was weird at first, but then I thought about her and Discord fighting over who should be the bridesmaid and I feel she might break the fourth wall more than Discord, in other words, I think my OC would be a candidate for now
