I've been out of the country for a while, hence the lack of updates on my story A Happy Accident. However, I just posted a new chapter - Amid the Streets of Ponyville- for any who cares to read it...A Happy Accident · 8:00pm Oct 27th, 2015
So, yeah, that happened. The conception of A Happy Accident really was a happy accident.. it went something like this:
An IRL conversation between Thorn and Pip.
[Upon discovering that we both enjoy MLP]:
Pip: Yeah, Rainbow Dash is so cool. She's my favourite pony!
Thorn: Oh, that's cute. You made a mistake. I think you meant to say: "Derpy is best pony".
Pip: No, Rainbow is so much cooler!
Thorn: That's true. She is 20% cooler. But Derpy will win you over with her adorableness.
Pip: Rainbooms say you're wrong.
Thorn: Doctor Whooves says you're wrong. And so do I.
[Descends into huffy silence]
Five minutes later.....
Both [simultaneously]: I'd ship that!
...
And that's how Equestria was made! Thanks to Pip for the inspiration.
Oh, and there's a new chapter coming out...
