Character day! · 7:24pm Oct 14th, 2015
This week is homecoming week at my school, and today was character day (as if you couldn't tell from the title ). Guess who I went as?

My "mascot" and apparently best pone ever (??? When did this happen?! Is she really my bpe? Eh, she's up there, definitely), Vinyl Scratch! I can't show you guys pictures because it kinda has to do with my slight change that I mentioned back on the blog post "300," but I can describe some of it!
I made the ears and horn out of felt, with the horn's felt wrapped around a foam cone. The horn's spiral was made of white yarn, and I drew on the insides of the ear like they are on the show. I attached the horn and ears to quite an adjustable headband. I bought sunglasses off of Amazon that quite a few other people have used and wore them on my head most of the day (I have to wear glasses for distance), a twenty dollar pair of Sony headphones, black jeans, black lace-up boots, a chain for the jeans, and some paint to paint on Vinyl's cutie mark. Because my arms are skinny enough, my mom cut and sewed a pair of little kid jeggings for wrist warmers (they're kinda like fingerless mittens, but with a longer cuff, so to speak).
The biggest issue was the wig. See, I wanted to buy this wig off of FiveWitsWigs.com, but they hadn't updated the description when I went to buy (at least, I'm 90% sure), and they weren't clear on the whole "options" thing, so I thought "one tail ONLY" meant it was the only accessory, but nooooooo. It was the only thing. So I had to buy a wig from Walmart and cut it shorter to make it work, and it did work very well. In fact, I almost dare say it's better than the FiveWitsWig! Not one hundred percent sure, though.
I even walked differently while wearing the whole outfit. I told myself I would do that to be more in-character, and I did. It's amazing how walking differently can affect you. I also brought only a sports string bag to school because I figure that'd be something Vinyl would do. I normally have a rather heavy backpack, so only bringing the minimum was freeing. And a little stressful since I wasn't as prepared as I normally am.
So yeah, that's all I can share for the outfit. After I do the song thing, I'll post the pictures. I absolutely love how it all looks; in fact, I love it so much that I almost don't want to take it off...except for the fact that the wig and the wig caps I'm wearing place pressure on my head sometimes, giving me a headache, so I do want to take it off sometimes.
