Damn it school · 2:12am Oct 13th, 2015
Approximately 325 views on the first day it came out.
Okay, technically, it was the second day, but it got approved at like 11:45, so shut up.
325 views on its first day... My second best story, Back to Square One, got 380 in a week and 5 days.
This is the problem with school. This is what makes me want to never put writing down. To improve on my skills. I see that people respect my work, and enjoy it.
In school, the closest thing you get is either getting 100% on a test, or beating all your classmates. That's not encouraging. I don't feel good about getting a high percent on a test or being the best in class, I feel relieved, as if I didn't fail epically.
School feels like I'm in a competition playing an instrument I suck at. Getting a 70 isn't like writing a somewhat popular story. You don't think, aw yes, I can totally do better if I work harder. You think, oh shit, I already tried hard, and that's all I get? Well shoot,
This isn't what I originally wanted to write about in my blog. Damn it.
