I love Season 5 Episode 18.
It really shows just how different My Little Pony is from all the other shows are.
While maintaining a rating for children to watch, it gives drama for the moments when the world was about to end. It gives excitement to adventures. It's comedy is rich, and most of all, which is clearly seen in this episode, it builds character, anticipation, dreams, and fulfillment that felt earned not because of the usual reasons like, "It's the last episode", but uses it when they feel the time is right.
There's been a lot of changes in the series. Like how there was a change in directors, artists, animators, and such. Like Sibsy I heard of, very famous also.
But the heart of the show stays true to it's nature.
Childish, but adventurous.
Caring, but risk taking.
Random, but not fucking over the top stupid.
