I'm at the point in Royal Call where I would usually run out of steam and give up on it. But, I now have readers to keep me going so that's good at least. Out of the many stories I've written, I can only name about ten that are actually finished or I plan on finishing. Kind of sad really...
Anyway, the Fourth Report was pretty fun to write. I kind of thought that it was a good way to establish some of the personalities of the new characters like Mouse. I also thought that it was a good way to try and establish the inner battle Leo fights with himself about if he should still pursue Song even if she won't join him or to be with Rarity. I also wanted to make it more Assassin's Creed-ish with the combat scene despite the story not being a full on crossover.
The Fifth Report however was a horse of a different color. (no pun intended) There were a few scenes that I just had to work at for a few days until it finally revealed itself to me. I had all sorts of problems with it like it wasn't flowing right, this didn't make sense, etc. However, the good news is that it is done and will be up in a few days. Thank goodness.
Also, you might have noticed a few tags changing. Such as the "sex" tag now being there. Call it foreshadowing for later chapters. And I will reveal that in later chapters we shall see Doctor Whooves again. Hope you guys are looking forward to the next chapter as much as I'm looking forward to your response. As always, tips and criticism are welcome and encouraged.
