My Little One Piece: a Thought Experiment · 8:22am Oct 11th, 2015
so, I've been having a bit of a thought experiment: which ponies would be certain characters in one peice? In essence, it'd be like a fusion fic kinda idea, where the ponies take on the roles, costume and personality of certain of one peice characters, and which would be the msot fitting. in no particular order, here is what I thought up:
Rainbow Dash as Roronoa Zoro: both are incredibly loyal and one of the main powerhouses, and both dream to be the best at their chosen hobby (becoming part of equestria's best flyers and becoming the world's greatest swordsman, respectively). Fairly Straightforward, really.
Applejack as Sanji: both fight primarily with their legs, though applejack does use the lasso occasionally, and both are considered great chefs or at least have a strong connection to food and cooking. plus, with rainbow dash as zoro, the rivalries fit.
Pinkie Pie as Brook: both are fun loving and friendly and love to sing, though brook doesn't have mas much of a sweet tooth as pinkie. They certainly both work as wacky characters and brook's dream is about reuniting with a friend, which could fit with pinkie too.
Lyra Heartstrings: could work as either robin or kuma, due to both having powers predominately based around hands.
Shining Armour as Sengoku: both in charge of a vaguely military organisation, plus now shining can be an effective fighter!
Trixie as Buggy the Clown: attention whores obsessed with being flashy, natch.
Cadence as Boa Hancock: characters considered very beautiful with powers based around 'love', and both are princesses!
Nightmare Moon as Gold Roger: this one pretty obvious.
Sombra or Tirek as Blackbeard: sombra has has shadow powers that match Blackbeard's darkness motif and both are villains who went from nobody to nightmare, but tirek has the ambition and the power absortion abilities. its a toss up really. All three want to be rulers or kings of a sort in one way or another.
Sunset Shimmer as Gekko Moriah: both attempted to build a zombie army, of a sort. Naturally, this would be evil sunset shimemr rather than her post-redemption self.
Diamond Tiara as Donquixote Doflamingo: both are assholes who nevertheless care for their families.
Gilda as Akainu: jerks with very strong tempers who, at least for a time, were among the most hated characters.
so what are your thoughts? anyone you'd add/think would suit these roles better?
Hmm...if I knew anything about One Piece I would help you. Sadly, I don't :/ But they do sound like fairly good fits...? ^.^;; Well, I do remember a tiny bit of One Piece from about...12 years ago maybe, but never got into it that much as a child.
