5 Years of Pony

I've tagged "I'm not a chicken" because it's my oldest stories, and I'd love for this message to be read by my oldest readers.

I've been a fan of MLP since early 2012. In fact, making an account on here was one of the earlier things I did in the fandom; I named myself TrebleBass because i was dead-set on being a musician in the community. Ironically at some point i abandoned that idea and wanted to write more, only to just stop writing completely. Now I'm kind of doing both music and writing, but music has become my first and foremost hobby.

Anyway, where was I. So, back then, I was 15. You can even find my 16th birthday blog post somewhere on this site. And now I'm 19, so I'm technically legally an adult (very scary). My high school started in 10th grade bc of how many people lived in our district, so 9th had it's own separate building. So I was in my first year of high school when I got with the ponies. And now, I'm in my sophomore year of a college 6 hours away from home. I'm on my own here, being responsible and shit. It's such a difference to where I was when I started watching.

So like, the 3.5 years I've been in this community have been years that I've grown so much. These years are already years where you 'become an adult' and 'mature', and stacked on top of that I had the wonderful experience of meeting all of you guys/gals. I honestly would be no one like who I am today.

I wouldn't be someone who puts so much into being a loyal friend. I wouldn't be how understanding I am. I wouldn't be so much if it hadn't been for the show & it's values, but more importantly the community & it's values.

So thank you guys.

Thank you to all the consumers of the creative things for making being creative in this community worth something; yea writing is fun, but writing FOR people is so much more so. Having people to interact with is so much fun. I love all you guys.
