......Stuff.
Yeah, you've no doubt noticed the lack of stories despite my promises. *sigh* I'm sorry, I kinda got distracted with other things. With school in the way, it's hard to write, on top of a severe case of Writer's Block. There's a bright side to this, however: With things unwritten, changing them is a breeze. Here's a full list of new plans, updated and fresh from my mind:

1: Slice of Life Living and Learning in Ponyville: Skyium's life: Remember this? Yeah, finally thought up a better name. I'll probably change it again later, but now it's more unique even if I don't change it. For the most part this update is just a title change and a bit more info on it. I'm probably gonna plant it's start at sometime in Season 2 before "A Canterlot Wedding", and definitely before Season 4. This story will be freely updated whenever the heck I feel like, and will contain both original stories and rewrites of existing episodes that are....less than critically liked, shall we say. For example, fixing a plot hole with "Rainbow Falls", having my character, who is a decent but not great flier, replace Bulk Biceps. Or otherwise scenes involving my character in episodes where he otherwise doesn't play much of a part. I'm stating right off, there's a serious, overarching plotline I freaking NEED you people to read through carefully and give a chance. Don't just write it off because you think you've seen it before. I'm gonna teach this site a valuable friendship lesson, and I'm gonna do it RIGHT.
2: Skyium's Slice of Life; will be added to Living and Learning in Ponyville: Skyium's Life as a chapter once I actually start writing it. Before I get to the right point, though, I'll leave it as a oneshot story to work as a type of preview of Skyium's character and some of the things I intend to do.
New story
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Friendship is Magic
Summary: Not five days of his normal life after the events of Perfect Balance: Twilight Embrace (unrelated to the book, movie, or the character Twilight Sparkle), Shane/Torrent finds himself whisked into another new world. Now with 100% less familiar companions and 50% less inventory from his previous adventures, the young hero is forced to adjust to and assist the inhabitants of Equestria against new threats.
Motivation: Friendship is Aura and really, really cute mental images.
Elaboration: first off, the character is a Piplup, male, aged 10 in this fic. Unlike my other kid hero characters who don't often act like kids, I fully intend to utilize Shane/Torrent's age in this. I'm still working on the re-write of his bio at the moment, so there's not a lot to speak of with the character at the moment. I really like the idea of this character meeting the main six. Thinking about it, there's a lot of room for creativity here. My only real problem is that I need to think up a villain.
Special notes: character name. The OC staring in the new fic listed above is actually named both Shane AND Torrent. Which one to have him go by in Equestria is up for debate. The character shares his first name with myself, as he is an avatar of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon main character from Explorers of Sky which I first finished at around age 10 or so.
