Displaced - Sequel News and Artist Call · 6:08pm Aug 5th, 2012
So yes, I've teased you all quite a bit with the Epilogue of Displaced.
There is in fact a sequel coming, and it's going to be far less dark this time around. I'm aiming more for the adventure side of things [maybe a touch of shipping] this time around, involving a mission for Gaea herself. Think of it as a bit of a cross between Legend of Zelda, My Little Pony, and Dungeons and Dragons. Twilight Sparkle, Scootaloo, Goldenrod, and Braeburn are the main characters in the story, and as they go, their party grows with a cast of familiar faces.
This tale is called 'The Gaean Crusade', and I would very much love to see if any of my readers are willing to provide a cover image. While vectoring things myself is fun, anything I produce will always be lacking in a certain quality. Others, on the other hand, don't tend to do a half-arsed job like myself. I cannot provide any pay, but the artist whose work I choose would be given proper recognition in the story profile. What's more, if the story clears Equestria Daily for a feature of its own, you would have your cover for many to see, again with artist recognition in the story posting!
Still interested? Awesome! I've got a few suggestions for ideal cover images.
The first is a similar theme to the cover of Displaced. 
It would be a book, jutting out of a sand dune with the title stylized on the cover 'The Gaean Crusade'.
The other idea is the main cast of Twilight, Goldenrod, Scootaloo, and Braeburn all in desert garb and goggles, standing on a rocky outcropping facing something the point of view does not reveal, possibly with the dawn at their backs.
For a good idea for what I mean in terms of outfits, maybe use this as an example:
You're not restricted to a desert setting though. They'll be in many locations, like near a volcano, a mountain on the icy tundra, or entering a secret cavern behind a gigantic waterfall! If you can come up with something you think is awesome, give it a shot!
I hope some my artistically inclined fans will read this and maybe take a shot. I'm sure some of you would come up with things that would surely garner attention to the story.

Hmm im not one for artists but i was thinking about ides for it, may want to invlude them lounging around somewhere with a campfire in the middle
