Giving into Tempation (AKA: I watched "The Scare Master")

So, for everbody who's been out of the loop on Pony today, "The Scare Master", the upcoming Nightmare Night episode has been leaked online. To keep the synopsis as brief, ambiguous and spoiler free as possible, Fluttershy goes out on Nightmare Night. While I tried to be a good scout and stay away from it so I could wait until October, I simply couldn't. After fighting with myself for so long, I follwed the Youtube link and began my Halloween season early.

How was the episode?

Without giving away too much, this episode... was... AMAZING!

While I'm pretty biased towards Fluttershy episodes in general, I can't explain how long I've been praying for an episode like this. However, it didn't meet my expectations... it exceeded them! It was very surprisingly original, well paced and even provides a lovely little ending, though not the ending some may expect.

It's very hard to actually talk about the episode because I don't want to give away any spoilers to those who actually do want to wait. But all I can really say is that I look forward to viewing this episode again when it officially airs, and may even become a Halloween tradition for me to watch it. I'll be sure to post a full review of it when the air date does come so I can maybe get a second opinion and catch some other things I missed before.
