Well, not in my fanfic anyway. Or not yet at least. This is my own take of how it would be if ever an Equestria Girls series is made, which more likely than not won't have Twilight. Not the Equestria Twilight anyway, and since (as of this blog and the fanfic's writing) "Friendship Games" isn't out yet, I won't do a human Twi, since we haven't yet seen how she is apart from the preview. Making a reverse or an opposite of Equestria Twilight wouldn't do since we don't know yet what her exact personality is; it might not even be a total opposite of Equestria Twi, but a mix of something good and something bad.
But why do Sunset if we don't know much about her yet? Well actually we do--based on two movies, some books, as well as the shorts and fan discussion. More or less her personality has already been defined. Human Twilight isn't definite yet, unless one wants to do an alternate reality Twilight that is apart from the Friendship Games one--which might then be a possibility.
In any case, that is why there is no Twilight in my fanfic, since I imagine how a series would be with Sunset as the main focus, no Twilight in sight, and how she will relate to the human Main 5, as well as Sonata, the Dazzlings (I can see them as recurring characters) and any other possible characters.
As for how will Equestria Girls be if it would become a series? I'll touch on that later. I have my own theory as to how it will possibly be, how will it relate (or non-relate) to FiM, how it will affect the FiM series (or vice versa), and how it will determine FiM's fate as a series. But if one wants a clue: see how Sunset Shimmer is being developed, or should I say groomed, as a main character. The clue is already there.
