A new week, a new keyboard... · 9:59am Jul 11th, 2016
Actually, the keyboard was already bought last week. This is the keyboard that I have wanted, the Razer Black Widow Chroma Overwatch keyboard. It is a beautiful keyboard, and I am just happy to have it right now. Of course, now that I have it, my next target is the Razer Deathadder Overwatch mouse, to pair it up with it.
With the keyboard of course I can create different lighting effects and profiles. I am not too much into fancy lighting effects. I have kept it at the Static effect, since it's the most practical one. I use it at night when the light is dim (I have not yet put on a new light so it is still dim where I have my PC). I have also made some customizations with the keyboard. The secondary characters on some keys can't be seen when the keyboard lights are on, so I have replaced some of the keys with secondary characters with the key caps that came from the Dragonwar Atomos. Now it's much better since I can see all of the characters on the keyboard.
With the keyboard I have created a few lighting profiles that are patterned after the colors of some of the characters in Equestria Girls and Friendship is Magic. So far I have made lighting patterns for Sunset Shimmer, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. Here are their pics. Right now though I am using the Overwatch lighting profile--not the official one, but one I made by simply having all the keys in yellow and in Static mode. All of the profiles are in Static mode. My previous Razer keyboard, the Black Widow Ultimate 2016 is still here and is one of the backup keyboards along with the Dragonwar Atomos. So now I have more incentives to make more fanfics, thanks to a new mechanical keyboard. This would be the last mechanical keyboard I would be buying, as I don't think I would buy another one for a long time, considering as well that I have 2 other mechanical keyboards as reserves.
