Farewell, my friend

We've known each other for almost a decade and you were such a good companion. A great friend. It really hurts to say goodbye after such a long time, but I'm sure you'll be happy now and you won't suffer anymore. I wish you well on the next journey you'll take. I'm sorry I couldn't do more for you than I did. I truly cared about you, right to the end. I'm sorry.

Well I just got back from the shelter where I had to put down my friend, my cat, Eddie. He's been suffering from a fall that was untreatable for years now. I know he's in a better place, but it still hurts to lose a friend. R.I.P. Ed. Here's to you.

3367022 3367021 I'll be fine. He wasn't the first friend I had to let go. But, he was the one I spent more time with. Since he was only a few months old when we got him. Going over to my parents house isn't going to be the same with him gone. At least I saved the date on my phone, so I won't forget... never forget.

I have good friends like you guys who can help me feel better so I'm not worried. *sad smile*

3367342 Still though. Almost ten years with that 'Little Man' and he's just... gone. And I'm only just realizing that I have next to no pictures of him. Which I find extremely depressing.
