Honesty is the Best Policy

I'll let this video open this conversation for me.

Nobody likes honesty period. People don't want to hear your honest opinion, they want to hear the honest opinion THEY want to hear. So THEY feel better about themselves and their work if they produce any. I for one respect honesty, as long as it's reasonable and I can see where they're coming from. See, there's a very thin line between honesty, and hating. And whenever a brony, is confronted with honesty that doesn't please them, they instantly take it as hating. Let's all face it, what those people say about us, about being sissy pussy bitches, that's more true than we would like. And the only way we can solve that problem, is when we can actually take honesty like fucking adults, instead of crying, whining, and grabbing our security blankets that constantly lie to us.

Surprise Grind my Gears, you know what grinds my gears? People who can't take honesty. If you're a terrible artist, you need to accept that so you can become a better artist, if you're a terrible writer, you need to know that so you can better yourself. We live in a twisted society nowadays where we care more about feelings and nothing else. It's not just prominent in the Brony community, but in real life. All these things are happening that people support and are happy for, but in reality it's wrong, but people are too scared to say shit because they're too worried they'll be called out and singled out. We need more honesty dammit, more realism, more truthfulness.
