NaPoWriMo and You · 11:52pm Aug 1st, 2012
Alright, alright. Cheesy title is cheesy.
But— NaPoWriMo is now in full swing for me. What does this mean? It means I'm setting a goal for myself of at least 2,000 words per day, or 62,000 words by the end of the month. NaPoWriMo has a goal of 50,000 words, so I have some room to play with should I miss a day for whatever reason. This also means that if I can keep up with this (because really, 2,000 words isn't that much work), you should see chapters a little more frequently than once a week. I'm looking at around 8,000 words per update currently (one < 1k word chapter and one 7k+ word chapter each), which comes out to roughly 4 days per update.
By the end of the month, I should have more than half of Past Imperfect written and if this month is a success, I'll likely continue writing 2,000 words per day through September as well to finish the story off.
Two months for over 100,000 words? I think I can do it.
Chapter Two should be done by this weekend. Saturday, probably.
I'll cheer you on! I'd be right there with you, but I can't focus on one story right now (or ever) and I probably write that much anyway.
But if you want, I'll PM and make sure you've written your words. Or whatever else might help.

Yay! A supporter!
I think the most important thing for me is just knowing that people are interested and enjoying what I write. That's usually motivation enough to keep writing and so far there's been no shortage of that.
I can't read that many words!
I don't even know how to read!
Nah, but seriously. I'm right there with you!
Unfortunately, with school starting up, I might be a bit related on reading your story
I'll keep up with it as best I can and provide positive encouragement. Good luck on your endeavors!

Thanks! And don't let me get in the way of school. The story isn't going anywhere!
