OC Test for Silver Star

I have already undergone the basic Mary Sue Litmus Test, and gained a lower score with Silver Star Apple than Princess Twilight. Or Season One Twilight. In any case, this one seems tailor-made to MLPFIM, so it should yield more precise results.

Though, an initial design of Silver Star had him as a half-Dragon Unicorn, struggling with his internal greed and the fact that his size-shifting and dragon power relies on greed. Upon realizing that this was too similar to the most powerful OC I ever created, a 22-year old gambler that found an Orange Lantern ring and went Fixer Sue on the world in the name of logic, it was changed. Interesting trivia: Another early design for Silver had him as a Pegasus, of all things, using magical items.)

The resistance runes he uses for training do not count, for they are almost always invisible, and they're the result of a spell he casts upon himself, not a naturally-occuring Symbol of Specialness. Note: there was a "?" in the box when I got this. Does this mean the question was not understood, or that a confused shrug was the question's answer?)

But no, I'm not about to insist that there's a secret seventh element to give my character a lazy relevance-boost. I actually once read a fic where the author, ponified, hops out of nowhere once the Elements fail in episode 2 to say that you also need A Pure Heart. Uh... Twilight, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Arguably Rarity have that one covered.)

( ) Are they royalty? (*Makes Vegeta sounds* No! No, he is not royalty! There's an arc planned soon, but that will not count, and neither will arc seven, because [SPOILERS REDACTED].)

( ) Gradient on their legs/wings/face? (Ew, no.)
( ) Are they enemies with Chrysalis/Tirek/Etc? (Add an extra point for every canon villain) (Hmm... He's never met any of those, though he would dislike Chrysalis... The canon one, not the likable Fluffle Puff one. The main one he'd object to would be Pony Amon, and her Cult. There's hatred, there's hatred for bad things, and then there's hatred for cults. But, I don't plan on them ever meeting... perhaps in a semi-canon side-story, a funny one? I have a great farming joke ready for that. But no, no canon character enemies.)
EDIT: This was written long before Starlight Glimmer was turned into the Seventh Main Character everypony thought they wanted until now, and a colossal Mary Sue that seems to exist solely to prove that the "All OCs are bad because some are OP!" people are simply chanting memes, and they have no actual standards.
