There are few terrible things that happen whenever my grandmother on my dad's side comes to visit. (Not to be confused with his stepmother.)
One, she tries to talk to me when I'm already classified as the family introvert, when sometimes I'm rather the opposite which makes my title hilariously ironic.
Two, she tries to lecture me which is an even worse add on to number one because I've heard the same "advice" a million times before and I'm not gonna say good morning ever damn time I notice her.
Three, I get guilt tripped. To hell.
But, in the end I don't mind her company, she can be nice and I'd be lying if I said I'd let her get cannibalized by strangers. Just like everyone's parents though, we all want to be alone in our dark caves we call rooms only alight by the screens of our monitors. And I don't want to be lectured on something that people can easily get over in two seconds flat. Eh, or maybe I just need to cook something. My siblings have been screaming all day.
Well, I might try to say hi to her whenever you see her, if that means you get out of being lectured. But yeah, having relatives over can be annoying at times.
3329413 Yep. I have made it a bit of a habit more, but still. Relatives.
(Man I've been feeling really meh lately.)
