Ok, eta for update umong other things

First and most importantly, the next update will becoming at the end of next month, a week after at the very latest.

If your wondering what is taking me so damn long, it's a lot of small things, funny how life kinda snowballs on you. First my computer decided to crap out. AGAIN. but this time there is a 90% chance the hard drive is fried, I felt the damn thing, NO computer part has any right to be that hot, and it had been off for five minutes, any sooner I would have probably burned myself.

BUT don't worry, I fished out my ancient laptop so it was only a minor inconvenience.

a few of the other reasons the story is taking so long...

1. I'm re-taking math... *seethes in silent hate*
2. I had to make a lot of decisions on where I'm taking the story, but more on that in a minute.
3. Had to re-write a section, and I have to say I am learning a LOT from this whole thing. For one less is more: for example introducing a subplot where Rarity is an Ex-Detective and has to team up with an old partner. Only to explain why she would have knowledge of investigative procedures. when you can instead have her read detective-romance novels as a hobby... See what I mean?

(Though that might be my next story, sound actually kind of cool. But has NO place in this narrative.)

Second. I have made my decisions on how Lyra Heartstrings and Time Turner (AKA The Doctor) are going to react to Troy's presence. And whether or not they will behave like in the show or in the fandom. No I won't spoil it. But it will be different, I can promise that much.

Addtionally, I have decided on the 'role' that Troy will take, how he will communicate, how he will effect Equestria at large and whether or not he will try to go home. again I wont spoil it.

Lastly, I wan to give you all something for your patience.

...and no, not spoilers for season 3.

Just something to pass the time, One of my favorite cartoons from my childhood.

Danny Phantom

Pretty much Ghostbusters, except the main character is a teenage Half-human Half-ghost. He has to defend the town from hordes of ghosts all the while trying to hide his secret identity. Oh and his parents are ghost hunters. Hilarity ensues.

Brief history: anyone familiar with the Fairly Odd Parents will recognize the art and writing style. And has many similarity's, the only difference is that it actually has something of an overarching plot. The fight scenes might leave a little to be desired but are by no means bad. It has a somewhat similar feel to FIM in terms of character development and 'lesson learning'. though not in a bad way (most of the time)

P.S. If your woundering why it might be a week late, it's because I will be attending PAX Prime. For those who are unaware, Giant video game convention showing off the newest in games and game tech. So naturally I will be hospitalized do to nerd coma.

Take as long as you need. Better for things to take a while and turn out well rather than to rush and end up with a low quality product. Hope everything works out

I can understand some of your pains.
My computer fried awhile back as well, though luckely it did't have anything to important.
And I am "sigh" retaking my math course as well. Hope we both do better this time.
Was a fan of Danny Phantom while it was on as well, last thing i can remember though is when he got his ice powers from those bears.
