Just wondering if anyone who may be reading this has played since the 1.3 update. If so, have you got any idea how to beat the Moon Lord on extreme mode? Me and my friend have had about 20 attempts, each time buffed and effectively abusing the nurse to get over the moon bite. Yet we just can't seem to take him out. I am in full specter armor with the hood for addition healing (When were're not debuffed) and my friend is in full Beetle tank gear with all warding accessories.
Anyway if you have any advice or tips on what to do your helps is greatly appreciated.

I'm not familiar with Moon Lord, but at the same time, I can't seem to beat that pumpkin headed bastard with the Halloween themed army.

I can do the Pumking from the pumpkin moon event, I struggle with the Santank NK-1 from the frost moon. Those thing have too much range and too much damage.

Oh and the Moon Lord is a pain to get to.
After killing the Golem you go to the dungeon entrance, there should be 4 cultist in blue robes you kill them and then the lunatic cultist appears.
You fight him which is a bit of a struggle the first time round, but he gets easier when you know his patterns. He also has no decent drops besides his mask, a trophy and a crafting station. So no armor, weapons or magic.
After killing him you will get a message saying the celestial towers are invading and 4 towers spawn at set point on the world. You have to kill 150 monsters by the towers to lower their shields. Then you destroyer the towers. (The screen shots above the Moon Lord was the Nebula tower just as its shield broke.)
After killing the last tower you get the message "Impending doom approaches" The screen shakes a bit and the music slowly goes quiet. The screen flashes white, the Moon Lord track starts playing and the boos appears.

I have reached him, but I'm not ready to face him yet, I don't think.
Need more ammo for my Uzi.
