I tried so hard to sound posh in my writing that I'm actually a bit embarrassed from reading it just now. I can't believe that that's the first impression I've been giving people.

But in the mean time, I thought I'd explain why it wasn't finished earlier. So let's give that a go.
For me, it all comes down to boredom. Boredom provides me with the motivation I need to slog through the first twenty minutes of beginning to write where I can't write anything worth reading. Unfortunately, games are a great source of ephemera, which means boredom can be hard for me to come by. And though I haven't been enjoying most games very much recently, I do still enjoy one:

Oh, and also this chapter has been the hardest to write yet, but who cares about that?
