Where have I been. I could attempt some yarn about how I was circling the drain or something overly dramatic full of the type of pseudo symbolism that the going through puberty set thinks is edgy and dark. In reality it's a lot of navel gazing and thinking you understand something more than you actually do or being overly disappointed when things don't work out because of a lack of experience,

My Little Pony: A New Generation (2021)

There is or was a debate that carried on after the end of the series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic that centered around the leadership of Twilight Sparkle. This debate came up when the general plot of the movie I will be reviewing became public knowledge. The backstory of the movie is that somehow magic was lost, the three types of ponies were no longer able to get along and because of

Maybe it's just me but, at a certain point one must consider their lunch or dinner choices before heading into traffic. You see, traffic is a cruel mistress. It slows up, bogs down and in pretty much any other way it can will make your life difficult. Add into it a sizeable Mexican meal and it becomes the slowest most arduous race against the devil to get home and not ruin your pants.

    Galaxy of Terror (1981)

Pony Tale Adventures has been put out to pasture at the C&D ranch. It was a bit disappointing. The art assets, sound, and general introductory scenario were charming (at least on the safe for work version). It's a shame that we will never see the title make it to fruition. That said the end result wasn't a complete surprise.

    Lake Mungo (2008)

So, where have I been. I mean honestly this has been the first time I've submitted anything since July of last year. The truth is I've really been absolutely nowhere. I've weaved my way through the many days avoiding angry crowds of one stripe or another. I've paid my bills mostly on time if not for the laziness of the local parcel services I'd be on time. I've worked at my job and one foot

Brain Damage (1988) · 5:56am Jul 20th, 2015

Sima Yi was an ambitious Chinese politician and general. He was one of if not the top adviser to Cao Cao and most of his descendents. Through shrewd political maneuvering, force, and betrayal he was able to end the Three Kingdoms period in China and establish the Jin Dynasty which lasted from 265 - 420. So why do I bring any of this up? Well, if anyone could stand to learn a thing or two from Sima Yi it's Spike.

Spike the Dragon, one of the most trusted friends and advisers to Princess Twilight Sparkle. While at times he is the voice of reason to a princess who can become overly obsessed with details and will run herself ragged, he has shown that he has his own ambitions as well. Unlike Sima Yi however, his ambitions often lead to personal disaster. He also seems to have self-esteem issues as well. He needs an adviser and I think I can do that.

Spike, don't worry about what other ponies may think of you, only make note of it. Make note of it and keep it hidden away. Meanwhile continue to advise the princess as best as you can and continue to study. Study tactics, study their sociology and figure out just what makes them tick. Figure out the important ponies strengths and weaknesses. Always remember to remain loyal to the princess and she will remain so to you. However, should doubts arise or your personal and political favor become marginalized, attack those who have cut you off by exploiting their weaknesses. Permanently remove all of your enemies and those who might be enemies and their friends. Then you Spike, you can create your own dynasty and have all of the jewel cake and dress designing ponies you could hope for.

Or you could get banished to the moon for a thousand years. But hey, when you came back you'd be much more of a popular character than you currently are! Seriously, have a little backbone for crying out loud! You're a dragon, be a dragon. You're embarrassing Crackle for goodness sake.

Speaking of weird little creatures with a desire to increase there power by getting into your head, Aylmer is just that, in the second Frank Henenlotter movie to feature a weird creature Brain Damage. Aylmer is a wormy looking parasite that likes brains, enjoys singing little tunes, is very polite and can get you so high that whether you're running around in junkyards or splashing around in a tub, you are having the time of your life. Brian is a twenty something year old guy with a job, great taste in music, and if you get to know him, in the end you may find he's very open minded. They're a better couple than Edward and Bella (and get more action too).

However, when Brian's girlfriend, his brother and Aylmer's two previous caretakers intervene problems arise. Can these two make it as worm and host or will they go out with a bang? Check it out!
