So. Life happened. Like huge ups and downs all within under 2 weeks. Long story short? Family thing happened (some crying and worrying), friend thing happened (much crying and hanging out time), another family thing happened (some more crying and a funeral), then I suddenly started getting interviews like crazy (yes, every school waited until exactly halfway through July), so I traveled in one direction for an interview Monday, came back Tuesday, traveled the other direction today for another, and now it's looking like I might possibly have a good chance of getting this pretty amazing job, but I still have *counts* two interviews next week and one the next? 
I just haven't had a chance to write at all over the last couple of weeks. The rest of the summer is probably going to be a mad rush to move and get ready for the new school year, too. I really want to finish this story, and I know I won't if I don't keep at it, so I'm going to try to write in some of the in-between time! Can't promise when the next chapter will be ready, I'm afraid. Things are just totally insane right now.
