Well, one thing is for sure: this summer has given me more than enough real-life material for writing Blank Flank.
Still no job. Still no idea what happened. Career as it was may possibly be over. Everything is up in the air and my life could go just about any direction from here. Yippee. But you know, there's a strange freedom in feeling that the comfortable, secure job is out of the question and that I can do and become anything. It's just a matter of building that from the ground up (and finding the funds to get by in the meantime).
I'm going to plan time in my schedule for writing as soon as I have at least a part-time job. For now, it's mostly applications and interviews and being too tired to write for fun. I'll be back! Thanks for being patient! 
I was just thinking about Blank Flank and decided to come looking to see if you'd commented somewhere about the next chapter. Saw this and the blogs leading up to it, hope things have gone better in the months since you posted this. As much as I'm hoping for a new chapter to Blank Flank, I'm hoping even more that you're doing well.

Hey there! Aw, thanks for thinking of my story and for your kind words. Things are somewhat better. I did find a job, and it's a lot better than the last one, though still full of challenges. I'm gathering more life experience every day to pour into this story. The ups and downs aren't over for Ava (or me!), but we're on our way to better things. Not sure when I'll get back to writing the story, but I do intend to, and have been adding to my notes for it. Thanks again!
