Good news! My dad helped me carry the big leviathan that is my PC to the people that custom built it in the first place, and they agreed....*drum roll* to fix it for free! Essentially, they said its accidental damage thanks to the storm, after going over the incident, and that the warranty can cover that. Compared to the approx estimate of up to £100, that's pretty dang sweet.
Sweet merciful Celestia on a pogostick, that's awesome! Now that money can go somewhere just as important!
*yawns*...My brains fried, I'm so tired, since I didn't get any sleep, well, I passed out at one point but that's it...I can't think straight at all.
So, the computer will be back in...a week, I think? I know they said it's easily repaired to their knowledge, but I cannot help but feel anxious nonetheless, as this last week, wait no, TEN DAYS, has been flat out AWFUL. Stress out the wazoo.
Fanfics will continue when it comes back...obviously. ^__^
