Inspiration from the Strangest Places. · 6:03pm Jul 9th, 2015
A while ago I was a big Halo fan. I loved the lore and the story for the game, strange as that sounds. Before Halo 2 was released, Bungie conducted an elaborate marketing plan by use of an ARG. Or "Alternate Reality Game." It was very cool and very well done, telling a story about a certain AI and mentioning things pertaining to the story. Apparently something similar is happening on a Tumblr about Luna, and I found some really cool and downright creepy pictures.
Obviously it's just another play of her on the moon during banishment, but it's the creepiness that really grabs me.
This is a theme I've been intrigued by since first coming to the fandom years ago. A different take on Luna, and how she might have been perceived by ponies in certain situations. I've been working with a story idea of this for just as long, and I finally decided to put it into words. I'm going to polish it up and release it soon. I'd like to see how well it fairs.
