I...have no clue what the heck I'm doing here. With the blog, not the story writing. I know what i 'm doing with that...though others would say otherwise. Heh. So...i guess to first start off with is my followers. Thanks all of you for following me despite my rocky starts. But onto a question that has been nagging at me since i started this.
How did you all get hooked on My Little Pony? Friends tell you about? Family members watching it? Or did you just randomly find something related to it and then decided to watch it?
Me? Well, I actually was a fan of the series back when generation 2 was out...yeah, that long...granted it faded from my mind for a while, what series doesn't after you grow up?
But with the current Generation, I found a Duo Cartoonist's Animatic for their now complete Fanimation of Luna, Children of the Night. That got me interested to figure out Luna's story. I watched the first episode and one thing led to another, I'm hooked.
Again, don't know why I'm posting this up.
I started to follow the series after I viewed something on YouTube.
It was "Fallout Equestria: leaving the stable".
A short animation about... guess what, ponies in the wastelands.
My mind blew up. I knew something about My Little Pony, but I had never watched a full episode.
Anyhow, I was intrigued. The video was only a little intro, so I started searching on the web about the story.
I found an Italian website with the first half of the story in Italian, so I started reading. When I reached the second half, I went on with the original version. In a second moment, I offered myself to help with the translation. But first, I wanted to understand all the refers to the original series of MLP. With that excuse, I watched the show.
Season 4 had just ended by the time.
Needless to say, a brony joined the fandom.
Posting Blogs is fun, it allows to communicate, to express yourself in a more personal way that with your stories. You should keep up.
It was during the mid-season hiatus of season 5. I found a video from JoshScorcher (hadn't heard of him before that) titled "top 10 women in video games" and I watched it. I watched it again the next day. In it, he mentions Celestia before remembering that it was a video game list and switching to Palutena from Kid Icarus. I became hook, watched the rest of his videos and then, I saw his MLP reviews. At first I was against watching them. Then, I looked at one of them.
I had rewatched them all at least 3 times, saw the Taking too Seriously series he had on FOB Equestria (secondary channel), and saw many other MLP based things including WarpOut's animation of Lullaby for a Princess by the time I started watching MLP.
Watched it all in a week or 2.
