Eeyup, we had a massive ass thunderstorm down here, on the UK's south coast. Suffice to say it scared the CRAP outta me. I've NEVER been good with storms. I had the misfortune to be trying to shut the window when the biggest blast of lightning EVER went off and I lost it. I mean totally flipped out. I fell over, shrieking unintelligibly and trying to scoot back away from the window but getting a foot caught under the TV stand. During all this, it seems an electrical pulse hit the router, shorting out the LAN board inside, and shocking the poor computer into the bargain. 
Initially I thought the PC was busted, as it was bezzing out as badly as I was for good half hour, but my brother went over it all, and the source is guessed to be the now malfunctioning router. Soooo.....I called the telecoms company and they're sending one out ASAP. Until then, the old router CAN still broadcast wifi signals, hence how I'm typing this via my iPad, but cable connections are bust. It sucks. I had a breakdown thanks to that storm. 
Other news, I AM working on the fanfic, honest! 
Between holidays, birthdays and people visiting, I've barely had time to...ugh, I'm out of analogys it seems...uhh...find my own butt? That do? Sorry, I haven't felt well the last few days. Lotsa dizzy spells been happening.
So I'm basically stuck trying to do things on an iPad. Easier said than done. The keyboard is awkward for me to type on, it takes forever to write stuffs. I'm too accustomed to the monolith gaming keyboard my computer has...
