Well... Okay...

Hey everyone, PL4S here, with . . . a question, I guess.

Portals (alt) - Screams has taken a bit of a left, it seems. Except with my regulars (The Derpy Doctor and Lord of Flies), it hasn't been very well received. In fact it was terribly received. So I just wanna ask . . . why?

Please don't misunderstand. These ratings aren't hurting me or my self-esteem at all. I care about this piece, and for me, that's all I could ever want. And besides, everyone I show this fic to in person seems to love it. Like, really love it. So my question, I guess, is - what's making the difference in those ratings? Between in person and on the Internet? Between reality and virtuality?

What, do you guys think, am I doing wrong? Because I can understand my first ever fic being hated on, happens to the best of us, but obviously I'm not growing onto you guys very well like everyone else seems to. I want you to know if you respond I will be able to actually win people's love here, and start to get better in my story writing.

So what am I doing wrong?

I've got no idea. I mean, look at my first story. People like it, and I have no idea why. So, I dunno.

3211940 Huh. Well OK. I guess I'll just try something new. So far my stories have just been

1) Something bad happens to Twilight or to Blizzard Blast.
2) Blizzard Blast does whatever's best for her. Usually that's to kick some caboose.

I think I'm gonna derail that and explore some more plotlines. I got two ideas coming together, one's pretty cute and the other's a comedy featuring the other Elements of Unity. Should be pretty fun.
