So, do you guys (as in all one of you, including me) remember when I was talking about the next story I was going to do? And it never happened? Forever?
Well, somehow, in some way, I actually finished that very story last night. It took forever for it to happen, but I finally stopped procrastinating long enough for me to actually start writing again, and get that thing done.
That's the good news. The bad news is that I have to edit it, and then find someone to preread it (hopefully) still. x]
With any luck, that'll only take a few days or less. (I'm not guaranteeing anything, however, given my history of procrastination. That's an 'everything goes well and I have enough time' scenario.) As soon as I edit it I'll look for prereaders, so maybe it won't take forever.
Anyways, the whole point of all of that was to say something along the lines of, "I actually have something now."
Edit as of July 27th, 2012: I've been having a tough time finding a prereader (I'm not too sure about handing it over to someone in one of the proofreading groups. I'm not sure why, exactly, but I'm not. x]) so I've decided to go ahead and submit it to be approved. I realize this may not be the wisest decision ever, but I didn't have a prereader for The Doctor either, so it's not like I need one or else I won't submit it, I just wanted to try and get one this time around to help me improve some more.
Anyways, I'm just letting you know that whenever it comes up in the que (They say that they have a que counter now, or something. I'm a bit confused since the last story I submitted was around this time last year, when the site was first launched, and that didn't exist. They probably didn't have enough stories at the time to worry about it. Anyways, I don't know the exact number, since it hasn't been approved for posting yet, but as far as I can tell, I didn't break any rules, so it should be. If not, I'll fix it up a little, and resubmit.), it'll be posted...
Phew. I'm pretty nervous. Hopefully it doesn't suck. x]
