Considering taking down Escape/future rewrite. · 4:48pm Jul 2nd, 2015
I may be taking down Escape, the reason being because I absolutely hate it.
At first I thought it came out ok, but whenever I go back to it, everything in there is just so rushed and all over the place. Despite the like/dislike ratio being very positive, I just think the thing is shit, and I can't believe I actually put this up.
I've been considering giving this whole thing a rewrite from scratch, sometime in the future, as I could've done so much more than I did, specifically with Sunset in Equestria, and I'd hope that if I actually did rewrite it, I'd put some effort and thought into it first.
Maybe I'm just thinking too hard. Maybe it isn't as bad as I think, and isn't bad enough to take down, and I'm just being too harsh on myself, but as it is, I can't stand this story.
It's your choice. If you want to keep it up, keep it up. If not, take it down.
Yeah I do like the story but I do admit it was kinda rushed.
The ending where Sunset returns she didn't even say good bye to her pony version of her friends, I think all three of the CMC should face the music, get the rest of the school year of detetion and inform thier families.
Well, I started reading it and found the concept promising, but I agree that the execution is a bit lacking. In the end there were just better stories that I wanted to read first and I didn't get back to it, so I'd say a rework is not a bad idea, especially considering the awesome job you did with Another Chance. It's not urgent and I wouldn't say that the story in it's current state is bad, but it also lacks actual appeal to draw you into the story. I would recommend you to keep it up until you start posting the rework in any case though.
3327539 That's why it's still up, I've decided I will take it down shortly before I begin the rewrite, which will probably be shortly after I finish Another Chance.
Ps - Thank's for the follow.
