So a recent comment on Love has everything to do with it got me thinking. I need to thoroughly explain to all of you guys why updates are so slow.
First of all, the updates are slow because I have next to no time to write, or have a personal life outside of starting up my own business. My wife and I are starting a publishing company for indie comics, as well as custom t-shirts, and vinyl decals. Our main focus right now is the comics, as we may have several large companies to print for in the very near future. All we need is to get an electrician down here to fix up a socket for the printer and we're in business. The screen printing for the t-shirts is slow but moving, and the vinyl decals are already up and running. The only problem right now is finding artists who are willing to make/sell/license vector images of their artwork for distribution.
This is why I have not updated.
Secondly, my stories have more typos than usually because I no longer have an editor to take care of them. Refro is awesome, yes, but he has his own stories to deal with, amongst other things. Thanks buddy, for all the prior editing.
Thirdly, and this is the big one. Since I have little to no time to write, as well as watch the newest pony episodes, or anything at all for that matter. I have been slowly losing interest in the pony fandom. I'm getting older, and realizing just how silly a lot of things are. Where my time would be better spent and focused on, as well as working toward a better future. I honestly haven't even written on my book in almost 4 months now. It's sitting there, half done, and me with no time to devote to it.
I would like to let you guys know this though. I do take breaks from working all day to have a little fun, so don't be discouraged that I don't have at least a little fun. I have been playing Elder Scrolls Online for xbox1. If you are online at anytime, you can send me a message. My handle there is FurStreak, just like on here. And if you need a character name to send it to, try 'Displacer Beast'.
I don't spend more than an hour or so on the game, and it is usually sporadically just once a day. So don't get your hopes up too high.
As of this moment, I am placing my stories on hiatus. I will update them when I can, but don't expect a chapter every week. I will have better access to a computer after july 4th. As of right now I am mooching off of my folks shop computer to write this because my tablet and phones won't let me post anything written on this wite as for comments, blogs or a chapter. FIX IT KNIGHTY! I'm using Apple products.
Hey man, it was a blast working with you on your stories. We had a lot of fun discussions and sadly had out own lives get in the way of things, but I'm glad to hear that you finally got your own business going. I can understand the waning in the fandom, but it is still enjoyable to me, even though I still thing S3 was the high point. I'm still around, and if you do need assistance on your story, I am still here if ya need me. I just might have to play catch up though, lol.
I'm so sorry to see someone like you struggle, Furstreak. You have genuine talent, and strive to write the best works you can. That's not very common around these parts. Seeing you drift farther and farther away from your roots really puts a damper on my spirits. It's because of you that I even took a crack at writing fanfiction in the first place. Granted I'm not very good, and I don't post nearly as often as I should, but I still try. And I like to say that you've helped me get enough motivation to go as far as I have.
Good luck on all of your endeavors, Fur. Just pop in now and again to say hi. I'd hate for another great author to ditch this site and fade away.
3175969 Oh I'll continue to stick around. Just because I feel adrift, doesn't mean I don't like to still read pony stories. You keep up the great work too. Having myself inspire fans to do great things, no matter how big or small they may be, is inspiration and encouragement for me as well. Knowing I make a difference in someones life makes me want to continue on and do even greater things for people. Whether it be a little bit of writing, or something else. Everything counts in the end, whether you think you've made a difference, or not.
I check this site almost daily for comments on my stories as well. I've seen many new fans follow my story, yet I've sen little to no comments. Everyone's comments help inspire me. If you guys like the story, or want to see something different, say so. I will try my best to add it into the story and do better.

I'll do my best, senpai.
Alright, good luck with everything. Your writing has been extremely entertaining! :)
