Trotting Dead: 400 Days brainstorm (includes Walking Dead spoilers)

I've only recently become a fan of Telltale's 'The Walking Dead' video game, and after watching walkthroughs of it, I found and read KJay's story 'The Trotting Dead: VG' (taken over by and to be updated, eventually, by https://www.fimfiction.net/user/bobby+ray). The story can be found here:

The story's addition of ponies made some interesting changes, like saving Carley and Doug instead of one or the other. Though the story is incomplete, it got me thinking about what might happen if ponies were stuck in different situations from the video game, more specifically, the 400 Days DLC.

A few ideas I came up with were:

* Spike, or someone else who could be able to break metal, ending up near or on the prison bus so Vince wouldn't have to shoot off Danny or Justin's foot.. Or alternatively, somepony with medical experience.
* Vinyl Scratch ending up with Wyatt and Eddie.
* Fluttershy ending up with either Russell, Bonnie or both at some point.
* Carrot Top, or somepony else good with fruit and vegetables, ending up with Shel and Becca's group.
* The survivors meeting up with Celestia instead of Tavia.

I'm still thinking whether or not to put it into a story or not. I haven't written a fanfiction in years, and I'm not even sure if something like this is a good story.

I'd like to hear your thoughts, especially from anypony who's familiar with what I'm talking about.
