Holy Schnitzels...

So, I got my wisdom teeth out today, so I had some time to lie in bed and catch up on the episodes that I've been behind on. And let me say, Episode 100... is absolutely perfect. There has never been a better episode in this fandom's entire history. I love it.

The whole thing feels like every piece of fanfiction I've ever favorited. The goofy but realistic plot, the wonderful characters... the whole thing feels like a love letter to the fandom. It gives LyraBon shippers some pretty good legitimacy, it clearly illustrates that The Doctor is Doctor Whooves, it has Ambiguously Gay Stephen Magnet, it finally gives Derpy a worthwhile characterization... all so wonderfully flawless.

And then we come to the Vinyl and Octavia bit. I was worried at first, but you know what? IT WAS BEYOND PERFECT. Not only do they live together, but they regularly make music together, appreciating and enhancing each other's styles by making Dubstep/Classical Fusion? I think I'm in Fandom Heaven. Plus, it gave so much support to the VinylTavia ship, they may as well have kissed. I'm so fucking happy...

And I actually like that Vinyl hasn't spoken yet. Either she's laconic, which would be interesting, she's mute, which would require her to be an AMAZINGLY deep and nuanced character (), or they just haven't found a voice actress yet, which means I can keep hoping that Allison Scagliotti will voice her. This is a win/win/win situation!!!

P.S. If I ramble a bit, I'm currently blitzed out of my mind on Vicodin and Ibuprofen. Blame the painkillers. Anyway, I'm gonna go finish the episode and try not to drool...

EDIT: Oh My Celestia... they even did the Secretly Philosophical Gummy bit... Holy shit, I need to kiss these writers...

EDIT 3: I'm too stunned to even shout... a changeling in the wedding... I'm literally tearing up with joy. There's hope for the changelings! My kind may yet find acceptance!
