Story progress: The Matrix of Friendship, Chapter 4
There is going to be a small hiatus between chapter 3 and 4. In the last few days I have been cranking them out, and It's really taken a toll to my sleep. Expect the next chapter within a week.
When I read other fan fictions, I notice that many of them get right to the point. The get right to what they say on the tin. I don't like this, because you reach the climax of the plot too fast, not getting to know the characters too well, and then, it's all downhill from there. After the climax, the story quickly gets boring.
I feel like that's effecting my story a little. The premise describes world shaking power, and yet, in the story the best we've seen is a Celestia/Discord battle. I think some people get bored or are underwhelmed by the beginning.
While things may be moving along slowly, trust me, it will pay off. There is so much more to come, and I even have ideas for sequels, spin-offs, and one-shots.
