Hey, remember when I promised you an original piano composition with my next sadfic, Somewhen? Well, I've got good news and bad news.
The bad news is that Somewhen is on indefinite hold due to some issues with the plot. But before you try to find me and kill me on account of continually hyping stories and then delaying them, allow me to offer this as a cop-out. Thanks to a website called Noteflight, La Suono di Tramonto is now a symphony. It already features four instruments, a number that will probably jump to something like twelve by the time I'm finished.
It's still very much a work in progress, but if you'd like to listen to what I have so far (and watch as I add to it), you can click this nifty link here and listen to it. It's only eleven measures at the moment, but I'm pretty happy with what I've got so far. Feel free to make suggestions.
Oh, and The Fluttershop Pet Emporium is coming. I swear.

WOW! that is an awesome song so far. Which fic does it go with?
It's a very nice start to something awesome. It's certainly infinitely better than whenever I diddle around on Noteflight. I find the choice of 6/4 time signature very ambitious and I think it adds a lot to the composition. As for a suggestion I think you should add a Viola into the mix, it has an interesting timbre when lined with cellos and Violins.
I refused to listen to Smile before it was done and I shall do the same here
writing a symphony? awesome.
There better be a tuba part by the time this is done though
