The episode was actually enjoyable to me. Not Castle Sweet Castle good, but none the less good.
I am happy that Gilda has returned and her and Rainbow Dash are friends again. Though I was expecting her to be the new Queen of Griffinstone(How hilariously shocking would that had been)
Speaking of Griffinstone, I was NOT expecting it to be.....a dump. I was expecting to be this territorial empire where all the griffins are alert and aggressive. I imagined it to be somewhat similar to the crystal empire or an empire in the sky. But I was wrong, it's nice it gave it a back story, though they could had done better. And if Gilda wanted to move out, why couldn't she move in with Rainbow Dash at the end in the episode? Clearly they are friends and I am sure, those two catching up with each other would had been interesting to see?
The recurring theme of this episode I had liked was the whole bits thing. Everyone demanding bits for the littlest things. Like wanting bits for help or even gaining information about the artifact.
So...what do you think of this episode? what could be change? what did you wish to see more of?
I liked it. Though the ending was a little lacking but that didn't take away from my enjoyment.
