I was reading yet another awful fanfiction the other day, when I realised something. Wouldn't reading bad fanfiction be so much easier with some alcohol?
So I came up with some rules when I had some free time. I haven't actually tested it out, and I'm still trying to think of new rules, but I thought I'd post what I had here in case anyone had any suggestions, or wanted to use it.

Take a shot every time there's a story that has a storyline featuring:
-an alicorn OC
-easy amnesia of an OC
-an OC with dead parents
-OC x canon shipping, without sufficient motivation
-an OC joining the mane cast
-an OC getting the Seventh Element of Harmony
-an OC who is outright related to one of the mane six
-a Cupcakes reference
-a human who gets transported to Equestria when they die
-an OC earth pony or pegasus who can perform magic, or magic like effects
-an OC who's better at something that a canon pony is known for being good at
Take a shot every time a story has a description that contains:
-a spelling mistake
-no capitalization
-"this is my first story guys", or words to that effect
-something that doesn't explain what the story is actually about
Take a shot for the following grammar mistakes in the story itself:
-every 10 unique misspelled words (misspelling a character or place name counts as double)
-every 10 punctuation errors
-every 10 capitalization errors

Of course, it doesn't exactly have to be a shot. Maybe take a sip of a beer or other drink instead. Please drink responsibly; I don't want anyone to read the worst fic ever, and then end up dead from alcohol poisoning or something.
In other news, I'm working on a few stories at the moment, but I have no idea when they'll actually be uploaded. I'm awful at actually finishing a story, but I'm hoping to get something done soon. Of course, the fact that I work now isn't really helping my writing...
How about - a non human OC breaks the fourth wall.
