Update on what I'm working on · 11:37am Oct 2nd, 2012
I'm sorry I haven't been updating more quickly, but I've been kind of bogged down by schoolwork lately. Today alone I've had 2 essay proposals due, and I have a bunch of readings and a presentation later in the week. It's exhausting, and I feel overwhelmed and behind with everything, and it's only been a month. I'm glad I'm not writing a thesis this year - I'd be even further behind.
I've been doing far more writing than drawing, which is good for those of you who enjoy my writing more than my art. I suspect that's a minority though, and I promise I will start drawing again soon, and more of my writing will make an appearance on here.
Stories I am working on:
The Librarian's Longing For Love - The next chapter of this is my current priority. It's become clear to me that people actually like the story, and are interested in seeing where it's going to go. I'd hate to make them wait too long, so I'm writing as much as I can each day. It'll be 2-4 times the length of chapter 3, which I'm sure will be a relief to those of you who found chapter 3 short.
Untitled Story for TAW's contest - I'm honestly not interested in the keys that she's offering as a reward to the winners, I'm more interested in the exposure I could gain from being mentioned in her blog. I have a romance between Chrysalis and Celestia fully planned out, and it'll be at least 10 chapters and probably much longer than the requirement of 10000 words. This won't be uploaded until it's completely done, upon which a new chapter will come out every other day, to keep there from being a crazy long period of time between chapters, but also the instill a sense of anticipation in the readers. In the unlikely event that I get stuck while writing this, or get to the last week of the contest and realise I don't have enough time to finish it by the deadline, I'll write a much shorter Silver Spoon x Twist fic.
Stories I'm taking a break from:
Untitled PinkieDerp Fic - I didn't plan this out as well as I thought. I'm not entirely sure where it's going, so it's been put on hold for the moment.
"Twixie-verse" Fic - I WAS going to start this, but then TAW announced her contest, and that took greater precedence. I'm still interested in writing this, I just don't have the time now. In case you're wondering what this is, it's a story involving an alternate universe where Twilight and Trixie have been in a relationship for some time, hence the title. Hopefully I'll be able to actually get around to writing it.
Stories that I'm no longer writing:
A Ballad For Angel - This isn't really my decision, but the other two authors decided they didn't have time to write, due to a full time job, and freshman year of university respectively. If I were to continue this, I'd want to rewrite their chapters, and I haven't gotten permission to do that, so it's effectively cancelled. Not that I expect anyone to really care; I think we only had one person tracking it, and a grand total of 0 comments, 0 thumbs up, and 1 thumb down.
Thank you for reading my stories and pointless ramblings. I'll do my best to finish the latest chapter of TLLFL this upcoming weekend.
