I love Luna, you all know that. However i'm getting a bit burned out on reading Luna Ships. Why? Because it seems all of them are Twi/Luna or Sombra/Luna, which has gotten boring for me. Go to the Luna is Best Pony Group's shipping folder and you will see what I mean.
I do like some of the few ships were Luna gets into a relationship with one of the royal guards. I could also see Luna being shipped with Trixie, but I think it would come out to more of a teacher/student relationship.
My point is, that its very hard to be original with Luna ships these days because all of the obvious ones have been used to hell and back.
Also, Tia/Luna makes ZERO sense to me because their already sisters. But I'm not saying they can still love each other as family, just not romantically.
Funny, I thought stories that pair Luna and Sombra together were actually quite rare, especially compared to fandom pairings in general.
