Alright Season 5 is here, party down! I liked this latest episode, but I'm confused about a couple points. What is Applebloom's "shadow"? When Applebloom first started talking to it I though it might be another Starlight Glimmer brainwashing because it's logic is on the same lines. Then when it actually shows the shadow I thought it might be one of the Nightmare Forces which would be frikkin awesome. Although I don't think that's likely because the reaction from Princess Luna would have been much more drastic unless she was trying to keep Applebloom from worrying. Or maybe it's only a manifestation of Applebloom's anxiety. Am I over thinking this? Am I going to be the next stereotypical brony on the news to confirm everyone's bias? Do I care? Questions like these keep me up at night.
