Announcing a New Fic! · 2:30pm Jul 13th, 2012
Hello Everyone! With the arrival of the weekend, I finally have some time to write again. I am of course going to start work on Chapter 9 of "A Total Eclipse of Their Hearts". A big thank you to my faithful readers who read and/or commented on it. Though I am saddened that more of my regular followers haven't posted their usual enjoyable and helpful comments.
Now to the big news! I have been planning a new somewhat in depth Romance/Clopfic involving Princess Celestia. And last night I officially began work on Chapter 1. After searching the vast stories on here, I've found that most stories featuring the sun princess either involve her and Luna fighting in civil wars, feature her as a support character, have her trolling everyone, or just plain being molestia. But one thing I failed to find too many of, were true romance/love stories involving Celestia. Now if there are any on here, and I missed them, I'm sorry and I'd enjoy knowing about them. Anyway, I just wanted to work on a story that gives Celestia some love, and I am going to be shipping her with a human she meets on Earth. Now I know not everyone likes human x pony stories, but I find them quite enjoyable to both read and write. I hope to continue work on Chapter 1 this weekend. Keep checking my blogs, I am going to post a little preview/summary to help whet your appetites. Hopefully those of you who enjoyed my Luna story, will find this one interesting as well. One thing I can say is that this story has plenty of potential. For instance, Celestia will get a chance to see what life is like for modern day humans. Oh and don't worry, this won't be one of those fics where Celestia ends up with a brony that has the hots for her and has posters of her all over his room. This is going to hopefully be more on the original side.
One final thought I want to share with you. I am sort of taking this story on as an unofficial acceptance of a challenge. I read a comment on one of Ageis Shield's blog posts that claimed Celestia is hard to write about. I disagree, and I want to share a story about another of my favorite ponies!

I'll do my best to deliver it as soon as possible. Plus unlike my Luna fic, I'm going to try to keep the chapters a little shorter (around 5,000 words each) so I can post updates a little quicker. But if a certain part of the story calls for more content, then I'll post longer chapters. And you're right - there aren't many Celestia x human fics or romances, for that matter, for her either.

I could see this will be a really good fic...I mean like you said or type most stories involving her trolling or in civil wars which is nice at the same time but really gets old...So would you mine to whet or minds and eyes how did she go to earth?

Thank you my friends! I am really looking forward to this fic and the increasing potential it has. While listening to some music and making my bed last night, a whole slew of ideas for this story came to me. Oh and look for the preview sometime tonight. I am still mulling over the beginning and determining how much detail I want to get into regarding humans once having been in Equestria. The reason for the reference, directly ties into the reason Celestia decides to go to Earth in the first place, along with the reason she is feeling so heavyhearted. I am also planning out how she ends up with the human in question. I think I have a good idea of what I want to do as well. So it's coming along nicely.
Now this is good news! Yeah, there are some Human x Celestia fanfics out, but from the ones I read, they're terrible: There's not that much plot and character development, Celestia's WAY out of character, and they never into great detail on the relationship.
That's why I'm looking forward to YOUR upcoming fanfic. "A Total Eclipse To Their Hearts" was amazing, and I never considered myself a Luna fan, but that change once I read that. Anyway, I know you won't disappoint. Keep on writing, buddy.
