My Writer's Block is Art · 9:19pm Apr 2nd, 2015
Okay... that's not entirely true, but part of why I've not closed off One for Luna is because I've been letting art distract me - particularly coloring other artist's sketches. I mean, how could I pass up the chance to do something like this:
When I do art, I can just let my mind idle and don't really think about what I'm doing. Writing, on the other hand, gets my brain revved up and wears me out rather quickly (that's why I tend to shorter chapters). Basically: art is relaxing when I feel stressed, and moving into end of semester rush is a stresser.
But the big reason I haven't finished up the story is that the last chapter is driving me buggy.
I've tried writing it half a dozen times, but it always seems to break from the flow of the rest of the story no matter how I do it. What I've decided to do is cut that chapter as its primary reason for existing was simply to show Twilight and friends all getting reunited. Instead, I'm just going to keep the bits I definitely want you all to "see" (probably flashback form - we'll see), and pin them into the epilogue. So, rather than having a full-length chapter and a short-scene epilogue, I'll just be posting a chapter-length epilogue.
What that means is that the next update will officially close off this story. I'll have it up by next weekend - though sooner if I get the chance to work on it more than I think before them. I doubt an earlier post time in this case though. This weekend is both Easter weekend, and my monthly weekend with family... and family trumps internet followers.
Thanks to everyone for being patient. Looking forward to tying this one off.
