Making Vows for April · 10:57pm Mar 31st, 2015
Dear Princess Luna,
It's only minutes till April here in the UK, and that means Camp NaNoWriMo is almost upon me. My original intention was to write something cute and adorable to make up for the horror that was Fifteen Dinners, but if there's one thing that fic taught me it's that every time I sit down and try to write adorable things they turn dark quickly, and then they become tragedies. I feel like this should tell me something about myself, but for the life of me I can't think what.
Vows is another TwiDash novel, because I can't get enough of that adorkable couple, and is structured around the wedding vows (anglican, of course.) Seven chapters, mostly isolated from each other as separate stories, each expanding upon the ideals of a given line of the vow... Personally speaking, I thought that was a really cute idea, until I remembered how the vow ended. "Till Death Do Us Part" will, of course, be quite literally how the fic ends.
I'm really looking forward to writing something big again, and I hope I can show a bit of improvement this time around. It'd be nice to write something I can be proud of again, even only for a little while.

P.S. Oh, and on Thursday I'm flying out to the US for BABSCon, which is going to be the awesomest. I'm really looking forward to meeting a whole bunch of people there! Also I get a ten-hour flight to try to write 20,000 words of Vows, so that'll be good.
