I've been away for forever. Like, my last journal was the 23rd of June last year.
Doesn't help that 1) I hadn't had a laptop to write on, 2) my interest in ponies had dwindled quite a bit, and 3) I've been busy with using my new graphics tablet (I really need to update my profile picture...)
So, what's new? Well, 1) I now have a laptop and 2) my interest in ponies is slowly climbing back up. So, if I'm not too busy playing TF2, Minecraft, Wakfu or Five Nights, or mucking around on the internet, or drawing something, I'll be writing and posting things up soon enough.
"Well, that's all well and good, but what's new?" Ah. In terms of stories, I'm gonna working on a reboot of The Great Equestrian War, and I mean a big one. Like, the narrative is bigger and better, the world is more realised, and I'm gonna change that name to something better. Both this, and a story called 'The Crusaders of Stonewall' are gonna be using an Alternate Universe framework I've simply entitled 'Receptorverse', named after the Receptor Crystals used on certain pieces of tech that allows magic use.
I'm afraid I haven't done much with my other, existing stories, even though I've made a fraction of progress with The Magic of Six and Rune Shredder. I've hit some mental roadblocks on them, but me being the stubborn bastard I am I refuse to put them on hiatus or give up on them. And, chances are it'll be about a month or so before I pick them up again, due to the fact that my writing skill has dropped a little and I want to keep up to a certain standard with those things.
In terms of artwork, I'll be (re(re))drawing the covers for the vast majority of my stories, except maybe Rune Shredder because that's actually still holding up.
Final thing, I'll probably go through my old stories and do a bit of a touch-up before I start anything, fix some things that I want/need to fix and such. Re-reading them would be a good idea.
Oh, I'll probably do a weekly post on story/update progression, just so fans of my existing stories can check up on changes.
