So, like I promised last month, my fanfics are now deleted from this site.
It took me awhile--I meant to do it on the 1st, but what should happen but my laptop goes kaput (more specifically, it suddenly won't detect being plugged in to a power supply, so once the battery ran out there was no way to recharge it and make it usable again). I had to buy a new one, then make all the necessary adjustments to set it up just the way I like.
I'm gonna say: I hate Windows 8!!! So I immediately "down"graded to Windows 7 and set it all up just like it used to be.
So now that its all taken care of, it's time to get back to the business of kicking ass, trying to educate the people who are open to it, and smacking down the small-minded swine who feel threatened by anyone who thinks.
Where to begin....
Anyone can tell you that Windows eight is not that good. I work with it in my programming course and I didn't like it at all. I think the main problem is that it's an operating system for tablets or mobile devices, not for desktops or laptops.
2853766 The thing that turned me against Win8 for good was something I'm surprised nobody mentions. Maybe its only OEM installations or something, but...
... On my comp, you had to use Win8 to GET TO THE BIOS.
To. The. BIOS.
Since you're in a computer course I'm sure you can see the problem there.
