So, this isn't relevant to A Pony Displaced really, just a general update on my computer. I don't know if anybody actually reads this, but I needed to type this somewhere, so here goes.
Holy. Fuxing. Shite. So, my friend Alex [who my computer is named after, and who pushed me to build it myself] was helping me troubleshoot my computer. When he found out it was either my CPU or my Motherboard, he decided to give me a couple of spares he had.
This probably doesn't seem like much to most people, but he's sending me his spare board [a good $500+ board new, still averages a solid $250+] and a $230 processor. Just...good god, if I was gay it'd be for him. I just...jesus, guy is basically handing me $500 with no strings attached.
I'm all giddy inside.
