For a while now, my family and I have been having trouble with one of our neighbors. Ever since they moved in about eight years ago, they've been nothing but trouble. First, their pit bull attacked my little brother. Next, they tried to have my mom arrested for "harassing them". Then, just a few hours ago, the matriarch of the family (and I use that term loosely) decided to attack my mother on her way to the mailbox.
We're not the only ones they've harassed. They've repeatedly threatened several people living right next to them. They threatened one of my neighbors with a machete. They harassed another family so badly that they were forced to move. They've installed cameras all over their house.
I'm pissed. Really pissed. Ever since they moved in, these people have been nothing but trouble. I want them to pack up their bags and hit the road. I don't care where they go: mexico, England, Mars, whatever. I just want them gone.
Holy shit... I thought I was having problems...
I once had neighbors who apparently had a large marijuana growing scheme. I was just a kid before they get arrested though, so the only things I really remember about them is that they had really big guard dogs and gave out terrible tasting candy on halloween.
If this family's "matriarch" attacked your mom, for no other reason then her going to your mailbox (which is her, and any of your, right), then you mom should call the cops and press charges against the idiot.
And your neighbors shopuld file complaints against these jerks for threatening and harrassing them.
You're right; those "people" definitely need to just go.

Has anyone called the cops on these people? Filed a police report? Hell, if they've cameras up everywhere, then the footage from those could be used against them as much as anything.
