Practice story number 2. (story in progress) · 6:33am Feb 13th, 2015
Well, I am going try my luck yet again.
It's so weird I find myself unable to write pony stories for some odd reason but am having no trouble with other story ideas.
Story title:
Forrest Song/ Forrest Dance.
"What is humanity?
Are we an evolved being distanced well beyond our animalistic nature, one that has become deaf to ancient call of nature our ancestors once heard?
Or... might that wild animal's call still hold a feint echo in shadows of our minds?"
"Huh!?" What is this place? Am I... dreaming, hallucinating or what? I've never seen a forest like this before...
"These trees, the ground and everything around me... actually including me looks like pure crystal. And... my... body feels different as well. I feel lighter than normal."
I walked up to the near tree; heart pounding in my chest. I have no where I am nor how I even got here in the first place. Slowly, slowly, ever so slow like I crept towards the tree. My eyes gazing around me weary should there be an animal nearby, as my feet touched the soft clear grass around me.
What worried the most wasn't the strange colors however. It was that somehow there was a sense of calm both within me and in the world around me. I remembered the old saying, "It's always calm before the storm", and I knew I needed to assess this place quickly before that storm came.
Taking a quick look around to make no animals were hiding anywhere. You would think that they would be easy to spot in crystal like world but with every about the same colors I wouldn't be surprised if they blended right in.
