    It's ALIVE!

So... Fillies is still a thing. After spending way too many months (it should never be months) not writing, I finally got chapter two written. My writer's block was caused by a combination of things, the details of which are boring. What's important is that I'm getting words on the page again. Chapter two is up, chapter three is a quarter written, and chapter four is... in my head. Awaiting the

    Fillies is still going

It's been a long while since I've updated FoE: Fillies. Too long. And I feel a bit of an explanation is in order.

    Fallout Equestria: Fillies

So, my last story idea didn't pan out. Which was probably obvious from the fact that I never posted it. My prereader dropped the ball and never got back to me on it, and we've kind of lost all contact in the intervening months. So... that story died.

    New story coming soon!

I haven't been idle these last weeks. No, not idle at all. I've been working on my next story, a wonderful look at Celestia and Luna's epic conflict with Discord. I've nearly finished the rough draft of the first chapter. If anyone is wondering why this is taking so long, I should mention that this first chapter is going to end up being nearly half as long as all of Stormy Skies. Yeah, I've

Epic tale averted! · 6:36am Jul 4th, 2012

I had an epic idea for a story in which Luna gets pissed and unleashes her full power (vague scenes are how most of my story ideas start), and it is revealed that, since she controls the stars, Luna is actually several thousand times stronger than Celestia.

But alas! The plot holes were many and irreparable.

First, the consensus (by which I mean my roommate's opinion) is that Luna does not actually control the stars. Just the moon.

Second, even if Luna did control the stars, Celestia managed the nights for a thousand years, meaning she would have controlled the stars as well. That feat would give Luna no advantage over Celestia.

Third, I'm already working on a new epic tale of awesome adventuring goodness. I should try to limit myself to one of those at a time.

Weeee crazy writerness!

I chose to believe that they are equally powerful, being able to control either force regardless of whether or not their certain other is around. I too had such an idea, but I never got around to writing it. :twilightsheepish:

Yeah, in a showdown of raw power my headcanon is that they're close to equal. But I think Celestia would be a craftier fighter, and that would give her an edge.

Now I have a story idea growing. Crap.
